  China
Next..

place I visit: China
language I learn: Spanish
major purchase: camera
minor fun purchase: the whole Ranma 1/2 series
(at a used bookstore it's about $30)

Also, I went to a doctor and got heparinoid cream for my legs, but they still are on fire!!! I had a dream last night that a bunch of spider eggsacks hatched all over my legs. Needless to say, I was jerked from my slumber and thrown into a fit of furious scratching. Perhaps its the laundry detergent I'm using though, which was just the cheapest one. Truth be told I've been using only Woolite for the last 6-7 years (If you can't tell, I'm a very particular person).

Recent nice things people have said to me at work:
"Your Japanese really isn't bad at all" - Jeffrey
"When you switch the phone to me, people aren't angry, they apologize. I think you say things in Japanese with a very warm heart, so it puts people at ease" - Yamaguchi-san
"You do things very quickly that most people wait for someone else to do" - Kano-san

People at work are very sweet. I feel like I will leave Japan feeling more confident than I was before I came.
