Ginza, Party, Fire
A lot happened to day.. I will go into detail over the next few days..
1. I picked up artist Slater Bradley at an incredible hotel (Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza) and made an ass of the gallery (a daily occurence.. but I definitely think I'm improving). Unfortunately, for my first trip to Ginza ever, I was wearing a backpack.
2. Akira met me at the openings in our building - Tomio Koyama, Taka Ishii, Shugo Arts, hiromi yoshii.. everyone had their openings on the same day! It was really fun.
3. There was a fire two buildings down from mine (well there currently is a fire). 8-9 firetrucks, 1-2 police cars, 1 ambulance, and lots and lots of burning plastic smell later it seems to have calmed down.
