  Bad and Good Things
Bad Things:

1. I was told the day before yesterday that one of my superiors was unhappy with how often I was answering the phone, because it's a headache for the clients that call. Before I was told to answer the phone as much as humanly possible. It made me worried that they had given up on me improving.

2. A superior at work was having a meeting in the main office that made me extremely nervous about my position at the gallery.

Good Things:

1. I will receive my pay at the end of the month in cash. (so, very soon)

2. The same superior that was concerned about how much I was answering the phone just wanted me to learn more gradually. I know this because she handed me a delivery slip and asked if I wanted to call the delivery people and arrange a same-day pickup in japanese. She said if it got hard to feel free and ask her to step in.

3. Another intern who works there part time said to me: "the tea you made was delicious today." I showed her it was just a cheap brand and she said, "No, I think it's because you made it then." Oh my goodness, she's the sweetest girl in the world.

4. The German woman at work is incredible awesome. She has all of these hip friends and has lived such a worldly life. She said, "let's be allies." !! I'm so excited.

She invited me to her friend's birthday party last night, which was at a really famous cafe in Harajuku that they rented out. The crowd was late-20s, early 30s and very hip.. clothing store staff, salon staff, DJs, artists.. the birthday guy's best friend owns a vintage clothing store in shimokita! Today a few of them are going out to harajuku, because it's their matsuri apparently. I hope I can go!
